Quick Start Instructions - Xstreamertv

Karaoke-

 - You have a few options-

1.- NetVideo > "YouTube" > search for "Karaoke" versions of songs

2.- Use your mobile devices to look up "Karaoke" songs on youtube and use Airplay or DLNA function to share with device

A.- This will allow different users to pull up differnt songs while one person is going. Making transititons from person to person much            faster and easier.

3.- Entertainment > Android Karaoke app > browse through the provided list and select the song you would like to use

4.- You can visit the google play store and download any karaoke app you desire

Airplay-

1.-Entertainment > and open up both apps "AirPin", "AirPlayer" - this will turn on the Airplay signal on the device

A.- Make sure your apple device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) is connceted to the same Wi-fi signal - "Airplay" options should automatically be                  detected on your device. If using YouTube apps on your phone select the small box in the lower right hand coner of the video and                select the device to stream to.

DLNA-

1.- Download the "Flipps" app on your Android device (phone or tablet) and open it

2.- Entertainment > "Flipps" this will connect the devices

A.- Here you can search and watch videos on your TV screen

Best Audio Setup-

1.- When the HDMI cable is connected you will hear audio from your TV set

2.- FOR KARAOKE - if you want to hear the Microphones you MUST use the supplied audio cable.

A.- This does NOT go into the same input as HDMI. Plug this cable into your external audio (surround sound, sound bar, etc)

B.- The cable goes into the L/R out 3.5mm jack located on the back of the device - the red and white you should plug into the back                    (AUX) of your reciever (external audio) this is the only way the mics can be heard. They do not work with just the HDMI cable as the            rest of the device does.

C.- The reason the mic is seperate is due to poor speaker quality on most TV sets. If your child decides to take the Mic and screem it is            very likely that it will "blow" your television speakers. To avoid this issue we require you plug it into an external device that is                        stronger.

D.- You can also pair a speaker via Bluetooth in the Settings menu.

To adjust screen stretch, size or resolution-

1.-Enter the Settings menu > go down to "Screen"

A.- Adjust "screen scale" to fit the picture best on your screen size

B.- "HDMI Mode" - will allow you to change the resolution depending on your TV set.

TIPS-

1.- If you have an old computer mouse lying around connect it to the device. Makes navigating through the menu's much simpler.

2.- Expand memory or transfer photos/ music using the MINI SD slot on the back of the device or by connecting a thumb drive via the USB ports.

3.- When using the remote in the middle right (lower right below the big "ok" button) is a small button that turns the remote into "mouse" mode so that it is easier to use the arrows and "ok" button to navigate and input text.

4.- you can connect a keyboard if you choose.

5.- If you connect to the internet with both the RJ-45 port and via Wi-Fi the device will preference the RJ-45 (LAN) connection.
